Practice
Andy Ball represents clean energy companies, community choice aggregation providers, community solar developers, and other clean energy interests. He takes a wholistic approach to his clients’ most pressing challenges. Drawing from his experience as a policy advocate, Andy understands that his clients’ interests are often best served through regulatory or legislative advocacy, long before a dispute or litigation erupts. But Andy is also a trial-tested advocate for his clients’ interests when litigation is necessary and brings years of litigation experience before regulatory bodies and state and federal trial and appellate courts to the table. Andy is a ready-made advocate for his clients’ clean energy interests, regardless of venue.
Experience
Before joining Keyes & Fox, Andy worked as an Associate in the Denver office of Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP. Andy represented clients in a wide range of industries before state and federal trial and appellate courts across the country, as well as in regulatory settings.
After law school, Andy clerked for the Honorable Nancy E. Rice (ret.), Chief Justice of the Colorado Supreme Court. While at the court, Andy assisted Chief Justice Rice with all stages of supreme court litigation.
Before law school, Andy worked as a policy advocate for the Colorado Center on Law and Policy, where he engaged in policy advocacy on behalf of low-income Coloradans.
